Client: Shapoorji Pallonji · Sedra, ROSHN Community · Riyadh · 2024
Build duration: 14 days
The Challenge
A residential community centre is judged by its facade long before anyone walks inside, and every unit here had to read as one architectural language while serving different tenants — a supermarket, a bank branch, retail shops. The shading also had to work in Riyadh sun: deep enough to shade the deck and the glazing through the afternoon, light enough not to close the elevation in. Louvre spacing, canopy depth and panel joints all had to line up across units built to different footprints.
What We Delivered
Complete aluminium package, fabricated steel pergolas and shading canopies, louvre screens and sandwich-panel cladding for the retail and banking units at Sedra, ROSHN’s residential community in Riyadh — designed, fabricated in our own factories, delivered and installed as specialist subcontractor to main contractor Shapoorji Pallonji.
The Result
One continuous elevation across the whole centre: matching louvre modules, aligned pergola lines and a consistent panel grid from the supermarket through to the bank. The shaded decks are usable through the afternoon. The whole package — fabrication and installation — was delivered in fourteen days, and every component was produced in our own factories, so the finish on site is the finish that left the factory.
